Uno Chicago Grill, which has been at the Danbury Fair mall for almost 20 years, closed unexpectedly Saturday night, leaving about 20 people without jobs. Mayor Mark Boughton says he is looking into the situation.
Boughton says the poor economy, in particular the restaurant industry, may be blame for the closing. He notes that there there is also new competition at the mall since the Cheesecake Factory and Brio Tuscan Grille opened.
Boughton says he doesn't think it will take long to fill the vacant spot left by the restaurant.
