Brookfield Police are making progress in finding out who has been rifling through unlocked parked cars. The Department released home security camera footage from last month showing three teens trying to get into three cars, one of which ended up being unlocked.
As a result of several recent arrests, Brookfield Police say they now know that the juveniles came to the Brookfield area from the Waterbury area.
Brookfield Police say car break ins have been plaguing Fairfield County for the past few months and detectives have been working with neighboring towns on an ongoing effort. They are also working with the Waterbury and Meriden police departments as they investigate this type of criminal activity.
