A 6-year old girl was able to escape an abduction attempt in Danbury Tuesday night.
The Danbury Police Department Youth Bureau is investigating the incident. The attempted abduction was reported at 8:10pm in the area of 51 Main St.
The suspect was described as a white male between 50 and 60 years old, 6 feet tall, with a skinny build and had blonde or grey hair. The male spoke to and then tried to grab the girl.
The male was seen near a grey car, and also possibly left the area in a white truck with a sign that had bugs on it. Please call Det. Sgt. Bryan Bishop with any information (203) 797-4682.
