Sherwood Island State Park in Westport will be closed to the public on Monday due to what the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection calls a "private event" at the park.
Speculation is that President Obama is using the area for a helicopter landing on his way to movie producer Harvey Weinstein's home a couple of miles away. Obama will attend two fundraisers Monday in Connecticut including a $500 per person reception at the Stamford Marriott.
The dinner at Weinstein's home costs $35,800 per person.
