The Ridgefield School Superintendent has been placed on administrative leave over accusations she plagiarized portions of documents to parents. According to the Ridgefield Press, the Board of Education voted Friday night and also decided to hire a lawyer to investigate the claims against Karen Baldwin. Ridgefield High School senior Paul Kim posted a letter on Facebook, which he says contained large portion authored by West Hartford's Superintendent, about the Florida school shooting. Kim told the Press that he tried to bring up the matter during the Board of Ed's public comment period, but was deemed out of order. Baldwin issued a letter of apology, saying the words were shared through the Connecticut Association of Public Superintendents and that share resources are a community practice.
