Woodbury Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect who stole a car and broke into another vehicle.  State Police responded to a report of a purse found along a Woodbury roadway.

Troopers determined that it was stolen from a car registered a Scuppo Road woman, who said cash and credit cards were missing.  One of the stolen cards was used at a store in Thomaston.  While officers were speaking with the victim, another call came in from a resident on the same road, reporting their vehicle was stolen.  A purse with a number of credit cards was in the vehicle at the time.

The car was later located in Bristol.

Anyone with information about the break-ins, stolen vehicle or suspect is asked to contact the Woodbury Resident State Trooper's Office at 203-263-3400 or Connecticut State Police Troop L-Litchfield at 860-626-7971. All calls will be kept confidential.
