A New Milford man has been arrested for firing a gun in his home. New Milford Police say officers responded to reports of shots being fired on New Street on Monday and found that 20-year old Ross Markey has accidentally fired his gun. A bullet hit his sliding glass door and travelled into the side of his neighbor's home.
There were no injuries reported.
Markey has been released on bond for charges of criminal mischief, making a false statement, reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a fire arm.
He is due in court on Monday.
