The town shelter at Brookfield High School is closed. Overnight shelter is available at The Regional Red Cross Shelter, located in Bethel at the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center, 1 School Street, is available for overnight shelter. You can park on School Street in front of the building or in the rear lot off Wooster Street. Bring your own bedding and toiletries. There is food available. No overnight shelter is available in Brookfield. If you need to go to the shelter
Town Hall: Normal operations. Wi-Fi access & electronics recharging are available.
Senior Center: Normal operations. Wi-Fi access & electronics recharging are available.
Library: Normal operations. Wi-Fi access will be available.
Brush/Refuse Yard: The brush/refuse yard will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm through Sunday November 4th for all residents and contractors. Please use caution when entering and exiting the yard as there are large vehicles and heavy equipment in and around the area. NOTE: The Town will not be doing curbside pick-up of downed trees and branches.
