TRUMBULL, Conn. (AP) A 54-year-old Trumbull man is accused of sexually assaulting four children over a five-year period.
Javier Valdovinos was charged Wednesday with first-degree and third-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and unlawful restraint. He is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond. It was not clear if he has hired an attorney.
The Connecticut Post reports police began investigating Valdovinos after a family friend complained in April that he had sexually assaulted her 12-year-old daughter.
Police say they discovered other victims, a 14-year-old girl, a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. The children say they were assaulted over the last five years.
The boy told police Valdovinos had showed him pornography and later raped him.
