Greenwich police, schools review security after knife fight

GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) Greenwich police and school officials say they're reviewing security at Greenwich High School following the arrest of a student accused of using a knife in a fight with another student.

Greenwich Time reports that one of the students faces several charges stemming from the fight on Tuesday and school disciplinary action. Neither student was reportedly injured.

Police Lt. Kraig Gray said officials will reassess what happened.

Board of Education Chairman Barbara O'Neill said the school is secure and cited the infrequency of incidents at the high school and the ``quick and efficient manner'' in which the incident was handled.

School officials said the fight was the first involving a weapon at the high school in more than 10 years.
