NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) Authorities say one person is dead and the highway was shut down after a fatal wrong-way crash on Interstate 91 in New Haven.
The crash occurred on the northbound side of the highway at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday when a wrong-way car collided with a tractor-trailer.
State police say one person was killed and another was taken to the hospital.
No names were released.
The north side of the highway between Exits 2 and 3 in New Haven was shut down.
