HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Six of seven men sued in connection with the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl at a New Year's Eve party in Connecticut in 2009 when they were all middle school students have settled claims against them made in the victim's lawsuit.

Court documents show three settlements came within the past month. All seven men's parents also were sued for being liable for their children's actions and all have settled, according to documents. Details of the settlements were not disclosed.

Claims remain pending against a seventh man in New Haven Superior Court.

Several attorneys in the case declined to comment.

Five of the men were arrested as juveniles and sentenced to probation.

The lawsuit says six of the men inappropriately touched the girl, while the other took a photograph.
