Connecticut man gets 20 years on child sex crimes

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut man who enticed hundreds of young boys to perform sexual acts over the Internet has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Federal prosecutors say 46-year-old Keith Haessly, of East Hampton, was also sentenced Tuesday to a lifetime of probation upon completion of the sentence.

Authorities say between April 2013 and June 2015 Haessly posed as a young girl on video chat programs and using previously recorded videos of girls, enticed the boys to engage in sexual activity on their webcams.

Analysis of his computer revealed images and videos that depict more than 950 victims.

He also distributed some of the videos to another person.

Haessly was arrested a year ago.
