Man charges stage after magician's quip on Donald Trump

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (AP) - An amusement park in Connecticut says it ejected a spectator who charged the stage during a magician's performance after the entertainer made a joke about presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

The Greenwich Time reports Jim Sisti, of Beacon Falls, had been performing on Saturday at the Lake Quassy Amusement Park Waterpark in Middlebury when a child told him she liked tacos.

Sisti says he made a quip alluding to Trump's rhetoric on Mexicans, prompting an angry spectator to stand up, run at the stage, and begin a vulgar tirade as several children were on stage.

Sisti says 100 spectators attended the show and many began "catcalling."

A park spokesman confirmed the unidentified spectator was ejected following the incident. The man wasn't banned from future visits.
