HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police say a 27-year-old man was seriously injured after he was struck several times in the upper body during a nighttime shooting in Hartford's north end.
Officers were dispatched to the scene near the intersection of Magnolia and Mather streets following reports of the shooting around 10 p.m. Monday.
The victim, who wasn't identified, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He transported to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition.
The circumstances of the shooting remain unclear. It's unknown if police have any suspects in custody.
Hartford police's Major Crimes Division is handling the investigation.
