Connecticut trooper suffers minor injuries in cruiser crash

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) A Connecticut State Police trooper escaped serious injury when his cruiser rolled over several times in Bridgeport.

Trooper Matthew Losh was driving north on a rain slickened Route 25 just before midnight Wednesday when he lost control, veered into the median, struck a guardrail and rolled over several times. The cruiser came to a rest on its roof.

The 33-year-old Losh was wearing his seat belt and suffered some minor abrasions on his right hand. He was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center for treatment and released.

The cruiser had to be towed from the scene.
