HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Police say a motorist was shot in Hartford and crashed into an ambulance.
The Hartford Courant reports that American Medical Response personnel told police they heard gunshots yesterday and were hit by a car.
Police say the unnamed driver of the car had been shot several times in the back while parked outside a supermarket. Police say surveillance tapes show a man approach his car and fire several rounds into it.
The motorist accelerated and crashed into the ambulance.
Police say the man who was shot was uncooperative with officers.
