CANTERBURY, Conn. (AP) A former teacher at a middle school in Canterbury has been arrested in an investigation into a possible inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old student.
State police say 30-year-old Eric Anderson turned himself in to face a risk of injury charge today. Bond was set at $25,000.
State police detectives worked with the Department of Children and Families in an investigation that began on June 1.
Canterbury schools superintendent Richard Paskiewicz says Anderson resigned over the summer as a teacher at Dr. Helen Baldwin Middle School. He said Anderson did not give a reason for his resignation.
Paskiewicz said he did not have additional details of the allegations.
