GLASTONBURY, Conn. (AP) An elderly woman has died after being struck by a car in Glastonbury.
Glastonbury police say the woman was struck Thursday morning outside a home on Oakwood Drive as a car was backing out of a garage.
The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Police say she later died. Her name has not been released.
Police are looking for any witnesses. Glastonbury police are investigating the cause of the accident.
