NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) New Haven police say a gunshot victim found outside an architectural lighting business has died.
Authorities say a man was shot several times in the back at about 8 a.m. Monday and was found in the parking lot of Electrix Inc. on Spring Street.
Police haven't released the man's name or a possible motive. They say he appeared to be in his 40s.
Officers say the man was in cardiac arrest when emergency medical workers arrived, and he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
No other details are available.
