Prep school dean dies in Conn. school bus crash

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) A dean at a West Hartford prep school has died when her car crashed into a school bus.

West Hartford police say Patricia Rosoff died Tuesday morning. About 20 students on the bus were not seriously hurt.

The car crashed into the bus at an intersection at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. Police say the 64-year-old Rosoff had to be cut out of the vehicle and was taken to a hospital, where she died.

The bus was carrying students to Conard High School. Everyone on the bus was evaluated, but officials say no one appeared to be injured.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.

The school, Kingswood Oxford, says on its website that Rosoff was academic dean of humanities.
