A Ridgefield man has pleaded not guilty to shooting a 15-year old girl in the back in June.  Ridgefield Police charged 33-year old Mauro Tropeano last month after police determined that a group of teens tried to steal a car from his driveway.  Tropeano is licensed to possess a firearm. He turned over surveillance footage to police, who then filed for a search warrant of his home.  Police found seven pounds of marijuana, a large quantity of steroids, steroid related items, over $28,000 in cash and multiple firearms.  His next court date is scheduled for October 3rd.  Two teens have also been charged for the incident.
