Two Danbury men have been arrested for trying to rob a man walking downtown late Tuesday night.  A man called police and said that he was walking near the Cowboy Bar on Wildman Street when he was approached by a car.  The passenger asked if the victim if he was from the area and when he responded that he wasn't, the passenger pulled out a gun and demanded money. 

 

The victim fled and called police. 

 

Based on the suspects descriptions, Police located 33-year old Jason Bonadio and 46-year old Julio Irizarry.

Bonadio was charged with interfering, breach of peace, and conspiracy to commit robbery and is being held on $25,000 bond.  Irizarry was charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, breach of peace and interfering.  Julio is being held on a $25,000 bond.
