Two people were injured in a four car crash yesterday morning on I-84 in Danbury. State Police say a driver by exit 1 started to move out of the left lane, but merged into a car in the right lane. That other driver, a 24-year old Brewster woman spun out and struck the metal beam guide rail on the left shoulder.
The driver that caused the accident, 64-year old Nancy Bard of Holmes, New York, veered left and hit another car. A 4th driver reported damage to their vehicle from flying debris.
Three cars were towed from the scene.
The Brewster woman was taken to the hospital by a family member for evaluation. Bard was transported to the hospital by ambulance after complaining of back pain. She was issued a warning for failure to maintain their lane.
