A Wisconsin man has been arrested for allegedly embezzling funds from the Children's Bible Fellowship in Brewster. New York State police say an investigation was launched in July when CBF officials discovered the missing funds.
The investigation revealed that during the 12-year tenure of David Eldridge as Chief Financial Officer, the 54-year old stole more than $100,000. The funds were redirected to pay for Eldridge’s personnel expenses.
He was charged on Monday with grand larceny and released after arraignment. He is due back in court on the 26th.
