A Connecticut man has been sentenced for distributing oxycodone involved in a Weston overdose in 2016. 21-year old Ryan Looney of Hamden was sentenced to 3 years probation, the first 6 months in home confinement. A 22-year-old man purchased 30 oxycodone pills from a Hamden man, for $900. The victim was found unresponsive at a friend's home two days later. He remains in a coma, in a persistent vegetative state. A 3rd man had supplied the pills and marijuana to Looney, who sold the oxycodone to the man who then distributed a portion of them to the 22-year-old victim. The two other men have each been sentenced to prison time.
