A plea deal has been offered to an alleged New Milford home invasion suspect. 34-year old Michael Saunders was arrested by New Milford Police for allegedly breaking into his neighbor's home in June and attacking the occupants, who are all in their 60s, with a bat. He was released on bond, but arrested that December for disorderly conduct. Saunder's bond was increased to $200,000. He is due in court on the 24th to accept or reject the plea deal, details of which have not been released at this time.
