Local Headlines

Over two dozen residents of an apartment building in Seymour have been displaced following a large fire.  26 residents were displaced following flames that started in the attic, but quickly spread throughout the South Main Street building.  The Seymour Fire Department responded shortly after 3pm Saturday.  One firefighter suffered a sprained ankle. All residents were evacuated safely, as multiple fire departments assisted in extinguishing the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
