Three Danbury residents have been arrested on drug related charges. Danbury Police launched an investigation weeks ago after neighbor complaints of drug sales in the South Street area.
Danbury Police saw 32-year old Saul Mejias and 31-year old Roman Mota-Alvarez engage in a drug transaction Tuesday morning in a private parking lot. Investigators then went to Mejias' apartment to carry out a search warrant, and found several adults, including 43-year old Felix Cordova-Molina. He was in possession of cocaine, a substantial amount of heroin packaged for sale, and more than $2,000 in cash. Drug packaging materials and a digital scale were also found.
