WestConn's Health Services on the Midtown campus made staff available over the weekend for any students or families who had questions or concerns about the recent Norovirus outbreak. More than 100 students fell ill about two weeks ago. The health department is conducting surveys among sick students to figure out where the illness started. Environmental and Facilities staff logged more than 600 hours of overtime in the past six days in response to the outbreak. The employees worked in two shifts, constantly sanitizing the campus. University officials say the prioritized non-stop sanitizing, in addition to regular cleaning, will continue.
