Danbury-based Praxair has been named by Forbes Magazine as one of the 500 best companies to work for in the United States. Praxair has been recognized by Forbes since the list's inception in 2015.

Praxair was ranked seventh in its category – Construction, Oil & Gas Operations, Mining and Chemicals – and 203rd overall.  17 companies from Connecticut made the list. 

Praxair officials say the recognition is even more rewarding as it comes, in large part, from the opinions of employees, as well as those in the industry.
