Consultants on the I-84 Danbury improvement project are looking for local residents to serve on an advisory committee. While the planners have data about congestion, they don't live in the area and aren't familiar with the little pockets of traffic that make commuters frustrated. The committee will be formed in the coming months and volunteers will provide feedback as the project moves through the design phases, into the mid-2020s. There is no plan at this point for what improvements will be made to the highway. Those interested can email DOT Project Manager Andy Fesenmeyer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
