A public hearing has been held in Newtown on an application to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for a marked course for water skiing along the west shore of Lake Zoar.  The course markings would be in place from May 1st through October 31st annually if approved.  The application was submitted by Newtown resident Daniel O’ Donnell.
