The Monroe Police Department will be hosting assessors from the Police Officer Standards and Training Council during the first week of November. They will examine policies and procedures. The department is currently a full Tier III accredited police agency and is seeking their fifth re-accreditation. As part of the assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments.
