The Bethel Police Department is releasing more information about a hit and run accident earlier this month that they're trying to solve.  On October 4th, around 7:30pm, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Greenwood Avenue in the area of its intersection with Seeley Street. The crash occurred when a westbound vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle parked along the side of the road. The offending vehicle then fled the scene but was later determined to be a light green 2017 or 2018 Subaru Forester that included some chrome accent trim. The evading vehicle is expected to have significant damage to its front end, concentrated more heavily on its passenger side.
