Putnam County prepares for next phase of COVID-19 vaccinations

The Putnam County Department of Health is preparing to expand COVID-19 vaccination distribution to those aged 75 and older, first responders, teachers and other essential workers who live or work in the county.  Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell says the rollout will still be slow because the supply is so very limited. Vaccinations in New York are by appointment only.  Anyone eligible will be given a list of local places to get a vaccination.

Those eligible can also call the State COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline for an appointment: 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).

Prior to receiving the vaccination, the New York State COVID-19 Vaccine Form must be completed. This form can be completed online at and you will receive a submission ID.
