In response to a gubernatorial Executive Order, Bridgewater offered a low-interest tax relief program. This allowed any taxpayer who paid the January installment amount due after February 1st to be charged a quarter percent per month interest from the original due date.  The last day to take advantage of this lower interest will be this Wednesday. Any January installment amount due remaining unpaid will then be charged interest back to January 1st at the statutory 1.5-percent per month.  The minimum interest charge is $2.
