Access Health CT has extended the deadline to obtain health insurance to December 31st. Danbury state Representative Bob Godfrey notes that the original deadline was December 15th. People who enroll by the end of the year will have the option to choose whether their coverage begins on January 1st or February 1st. Godfrey says some Connecticut residents may be eligible for free or low-cost coverage through the HUSKY Health Program and the Covered Connecticut Program.
