The next Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off day is being held this weekend in Newtown.  All residents in the HRRA region can drop accepted items off at Newtown Public Works on Turkey Hill Road Saturday, between 9am and 2pm.  Residents must remain in their vehicle, with windows rolled up.  Proof of residency will be required to be shown.  Items should be in the back of the vehicle and volunteers in safety gear will remove the contents.  HRRA covers Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Weston, and Wilton.
