WLAD joins The Danbury Council of Veterans

 in inviting the public to attend the

World War II 70^th Anniversary

& Remembrance Ceremony

Saturday August 15/ 10AM

 at the Rose Garden WWII Memorial on Danbury's Memorial Drive. 

At the ceremony the names of the Danbury servicemen killed during WWII will be read and the living WWII veterans from Danbury and surrounding towns will be honored with certificates of recognition. 

To be properly honored all WWII veterans living in Danbury and the neighboring area*** should contact Danbury Councilman Tom Saadi at: tomsaadi@aol.com or 203-797-1797 

and provide their name, branch, rank and dates of service... home and email addresses..

and phone number no later than August 5th.

qualify as well.
