Danbury man convicted of murder seeking appeal from Conn. Supreme Court
The state Supreme Court will get the case of a New York man convicted of killing his uncle at the Danbury restaurant they co-owned.
34-year old Marash Gojcaj was tried in Danbury Superior Court in November for the 2004 death of Zef Vulevic, better known as Joe Vuli and sentenced to 50-years in prison.
His attorney filed notice of appeal based on jurisdiction issues and alleged errors made by the judge. The appeal hearing won't likely be scheduled until late this year.
