Missing mom's husband asks high court to lift gag order

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A lawyer for a Connecticut man whose estranged wife disappeared seven months ago has asked the state Supreme Court to lift a gag order in the criminal cases against his client. Attorney Norman Pattis told the justices on Thursday that the gag order imposed by a trial court judge violates Fotis Dulos' free speech rights and prevents him from fighting allegations by police. The court did not rule Thursday. New Canaan mother-of-five Jennifer Dulos has been missing since May 24. Fotis Dulos and his former girlfriend have pleaded not guilty to tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution in connection with Jennifer Dulos' disappearance.
