Connecticut to launch $150 million fund to help businesses

Gov. Ned Lamont's administration is unveiling a new $150 million, multi-year plan to invest in businesses, especially those located in communities hit hard by COVID-19. Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner David Lehman said Thursday he hopes the private sector, including corporations and philanthropists, will match the state's investment. Meanwhile, Gov. Ned Lamont said Thursday his administration has ordered more vaccine and is keeping its mass vaccination clinics open in anticipation of the federal approval of Pfizer's vaccine for youngsters age 12 to 15. Also the state Senate sent a bill to Lamont extending the expanded telehealth provisions.
