The House of Representatives on Thursday passed the resolution that would put the question before voters in 2022 on a bipartisan vote of 115 to 26. The resolution now awaits action by the Senate. If it passes the Senate and is ultimately passed by the voters, it will be up to the General Assembly to determine the details of how the new early voting system would work.
