Connecticut has started a one-point-six-billion-dollar project aimed at making The New Haven Line service faster and more reliable. The first phase covers three miles between Bridgeport and Stratford. When all three phases are finished in 2035, some trains could reach 90 miles per hour and trips to New York could be about 25 minutes shorter.
