New paddlecraft rentals are now available at Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield. The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has selected Candlewood Kayak Rental to provide on-site kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals under a new multi-year agreement. State officials say the expanded service is designed to make it easier for visitors to enjoy the park while boosting outdoor recreation and local tourism over the next three seasons.
