Newtown’s 2026 chip seal program is scheduled to begin next week, weather permitting, along Castle Hill Road, Mill Hill Road South, Schoolhouse Hill Road and Poverty Hollow Road. Drivers should expect delays, use alternate routes when possible and slow to 15 mph during and after the work.
