Connecticut auditors say the state comptroller’s office could not verify nearly 35 million dollars in health care contractor transactions. That includes 9-point-6 million dollars in fees and 25 million in credits. The comptroller’s office says carriers are responsible for payment accuracy but plans to strengthen its billing reviews.
