A 28 year old Guatemala man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Danbury taxi driver Aurelio Orbez. Prosecutors say Santos Vasquez-Ramirez admitted killing Orbez during a dispute over an unpaid fare in December 2025. Sentencing is scheduled for August, and he faces a potential life prison term.
