Ridgefield police say an anonymous bomb threat reported Thursday at East Ridge Middle School was a swatting incident and not credible. The school was temporarily placed on hold while officers searched the building. No explosives were found and normal operations later resumed. Police say the investigation into the source of the threat continues.
